By working together on a common performance project, the students learn the true meaning of community. While having a great time, they develop confidence, self-discipline, coordination and mutual support. Annual traditions include the Halloween Show, 节日表演, 一年级戏剧, 二年级戏剧, 爷爷奶奶 & Special Friends Show, Fourth Grade Puppet Show and Spring Show.
初中 students learn dramatic skills and develop self-confidence through larger grade-level performances and small class skits performed at assembly. 学生 in grades PK-2 perform annual class 玩s that are often related to a thematic unit of study. 学生 in grades 3-5 stage performances as part of the capstone event of grade-level interdisciplinary projects, such as the Third Grade State Fair, the Fourth Grade Greek Museum and the Fifth Grade Wonder Project.
在 中学, theatre is offered as an option during the daily athletic/activity period in the fall and winter terms, giving any student the chance to be part of the Fall Play or Winter 音乐al. 通过每天的排练, students hone performance skills and learn all aspects of a theatre production, both in front of and behind the curtain. 的se term classes culminate in main-stage productions with three performances for students and family. Nearly 25 percent of the student body participates in the cast and crew of these annual theatre productions.

In some years, student writers have adapted an older 玩 to modern-day language and setting. Every two years, students have the opportunity to travel to Scotland to perform in the 爱丁堡艺穗节. 学生 participating in the Winter 音乐al receive PE credit. A one-credit Acting course can be taken to count toward the arts requirement.
