Theater Arts

Theater Arts for second graders allows our students the opportunity to build their skills of self-awareness and communication through pantomime and improvisation. Second grade adds the element of the “other artist” and the techniques behind believably communicating with someone else onstage for the benefit of an audience. In Term Four of theater arts, each student will research a fairy tale character to portray in “Adventures in Fairytaling” as a culminating theatrical event in the spring.

Second grade adds the element of the “other artist” and the techniques behind believably communicating with someone else onstage for the benefit of an audience. In Term Four of theater arts, each student will research a fairy tale character to portray in “Adventures in Fairytaling” as a culminating theatrical event in the spring.
